All Green Centre nis zyrtarisht projektin e ri “Covering environment and climate”, një nismë 10-mujore e mbështetur nga Support for Small Media in the Western Balkans – SMS Facility, me bashkëfinancim nga Bashkimi Evropian.
Projekti ka për qëllim rritjen e cilësisë së raportimit mbi mjedisin, ndryshimet klimatike dhe tranzicionin e gjelbër, duke konsoliduar praktikat profesionale të gazetarisë së bazuar në fakte dhe duke rritur transparencën ndaj vendimmarrjes institucionale. Gjatë zbatimit të tij do të prodhohen artikuj mediatikë, përfshirë artikuj analitikë dhe informativë, si dhe histori të thelluara që fokusohen në përvojat e grave në zonat rurale përballë ndikimeve të klimës.
Të gjitha materialet do të publikohen në platformën mediatike dedikuar mjedisit dhe klimës EkoSkaner, duke synuar rritjen e ndërgjegjësimit publik dhe përmirësimin e aksesit në informacion të verifikuar.
Projekti u drejtohet komuniteteve të prekura nga problemet mjedisore dhe ndryshimet klimatike, qytetarëve shqiptarë që kërkojnë informacion të besueshëm, organizatave të shoqërisë civile, aktivistëve dhe institucioneve publike që kanë nevojë për transparencë më të madhe në komunikimin e politikave mjedisore e klimatike. Në një kontekst ku mungojnë raportime të specializuara, ky projekt vjen si një kontribut i veçantë për të plotësuar boshllëqet ekzistuese dhe për të forcuar reagimin publik ndaj çështjeve mjedisore me ndikim të madh shoqëror.
Gjatë 10 muajve të zbatimit, ekipi do të fokusohet në hulumtim të thelluar, mbledhje të dhënash nga burime zyrtare dhe ekspertë, si dhe dokumentim të historive nga komunitetet, duke përfshirë me prioritet dimensionin gjinor të krizës klimatike. Përmbajtja e prodhuar do të synojë jo vetëm informimin e publikut, por edhe nxitjen e pjesëmarrjes qytetare dhe rritjen e kërkesës për llogaridhënie. Projekti forcon rolin e platformës EkoSkaner si një burim i besueshëm informacioni dhe si një hapësirë e specializuar për raportime mjedisore e klimatike, duke kontribuar në ndërtimin e një mjedisi mediatik më të qëndrueshëm, më transparent dhe më gjithëpërfshirës në Shqipëri.
Ky projekt zbatohet me mbështetjen e SMS Facility – Small Media Support in the Western Balkans dhe bashkëfinancim nga Bashkimi Evropian. Strengthening Environmental and Climate Journalism, All Green Centre Launches New Project
All Green Centre officially launches the new project “Covering environment and climate”, a 10-month initiative supported by the Support for Small Media in the Western Balkans – SMS Facility, co-funded by the European Union.
The project aims to strengthen the quality of reporting on environmental issues, climate change and the green transition, by consolidating evidence-based journalistic practices and increasing transparency around institutional decision-making. Throughout the project implementation, analytical and informative media articles will be produced, along with in-depth stories highlighting the experiences of women in rural areas facing the impacts of climate change.
All materials will be published on EkoSkaner, the media platform dedicated to environment and climate, with the objective of raising public awareness and improving access to verified and reliable information.
The project targets communities affected by environmental challenges and climate impacts, Albanian citizens seeking trustworthy information, civil society organizations, environmental activists and public institutions that require greater transparency in their communication of environmental and climate policies. In a context where specialized reporting remains limited, this initiative provides an important contribution to filling existing information gaps and strengthening public engagement on environmental issues of major societal impact.
Over the course of the 10-month implementation period, the team will focus on in-depth research, data collection from official sources and experts, and documentation of stories from local communities, with special attention to the gender dimension of the climate crisis. The produced content aims not only to inform the public but also to encourage civic participation and increase demand for accountability. The project strengthens the role of EkoSkaner as a reliable source of information and a specialized space for environmental and climate reporting, contributing to a more sustainable, transparent and inclusive media landscape in Albania.
